Hey peeps, lets talk Worlds 2018. With the first day completed we have now seen what kind of decks the world’s best players have crafted. It will be interesting to see how local metas change now that deck lists are available. For this article I have summarized the information on the deck lists made available to give us a peek into a possible Opus VII meta. I have posted all Top 8 deck lists at the bottom of this article. The Top 8 after day one is as follows:
1. Jamie Faulkner (Earth/Wind, Mono Ice, Water/Wind)
2. Taiki Harigai (Mono Water, Mono Ice, Water/Wind)
3. Hunter Nance (Ice/Earth, Mono Water, Mono Wind)
4. Josh Ge (Earth/Wind, Mono Lightning, Mono Water)
5. Luis Bardon-Burnett (Earth/Wind, Mono Ice, Wind/Water)
6. Alex Hancox (Earth/Wind, Mono Water, Mono Ice)
7. Jason Zhe (Earth/Water, Mono Lightning, Mono Wind)
8. Tobi Henriet (Mono Earth, Mono Water, Mono Lightning)
When we look at the Top 8, this is how we see our deck lists broken down by numbers played:

I have included the official rules for deck building and play below.
