Hello Mysidians! This morning I was minding my own business, recovering after a long travel day yesterday, when Square Enix posted a ban announcement on Facebook. I checked the link and I couldn’t believe my eyes, Rikku 1-089H will be banned effective Friday, September 13th, 2019. This coincides with the new dual starter deck “Wraith vs Knight”. You can see the official announcement here.
Hey everyone, hope you were able to tune into the stream for the Water Crystal Cup this past weekend. Today I am going to talk about the weekend in general and how the event played out. I plan to break down my deck and some of the others brought by my friends in a later article.
First off, I’d like to congratulate Chris Neal for taking the event with his Fire/Ice build. This was seriously impressive as Fire/Ice has been a strong deck in this meta but has been under-represented at Crystal Cups so far. Alright, with that said, let’s begin!
P.S. All of the photos I took this weekend have disappeared... so I am going to just use photos of Gumbah to help pace the article appropriately.
Welcome Mysidians! I spent an amazing day at the NA FFTCG Fan Festival in Los Angeles. I was able to meet a bunch of friendly players and I even placed second in the Title Tournament. I have a bunch of topics to write about regarding the Fan Festival but for now I am going to summarize the Q&A for everyone that was not able to attend the event.
The Q&A featured RB, a translator, and Kageyama. The questions came from a predetermined poll that RB conducted. I mainly focussed on writing down answers so I may not have listed all the questions below. Enjoy!
Happy spoiler season Mysidians! Over the last few weeks the floodgates have opened, and we have seen 16 new spoilers for Opus VII released. We have also heard some content creators mention that they have been given spoilers for Opus VIII, so hopefully we can expect more on the way soon.
In this article I will break down my thoughts on each spoiler. Keep in mind that it is very hard to judge cards without seeing the entire set, and even then, some cards can be hard to predict. If you have alternate opinion to mine, that is great! Please share them in the comments so that we can all learn from more perspectives. I have sorted the cards by how they were spoiled. All of my information is from the sources themselves, and the Zodiac Braves, who are compiling a full Opus VIII spoiler list here.
Without further ado, lets get into the cards.
Edit: I had some difficulty copying the full text over from the Spoiler Chart since it was in multiple lines of Excel. I want to apologize for the incomplete assessments and text for some cards. I will be sure to edit my work more closely in the future.
Welcome everyone to another Mysidia Post Article. Today I am going to talk about one of the starter decks that has been officially confirmed for Opus VIII. To give context, GTS Distribution recently posted this photo:
Hey everyone, after hearing last week about the details of Europe's upcoming 2019 FFTCG season, I could not wait for news of what North America had in store. We had to wait for RB to come back from the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Fan Festival, but we have some news on what our 2019 season will look like! I have paraphrased all the information below, but it is all from RB's original post on Facebook which you can find here.
I hope we get even more details soon, such as specific dates and locations for Crystal Cups and more. I am particularly excited for the Fan Festival, hopefully it all works out with my schedule!
Alex is a FFTCG player from Vancouver, Canada. His favourite Final Fantasy is IV and his favourite Elements are Earth and Ice, although he has a soft spot for fire.
