Walking into Good Games to my first locals, I was of course playing my Burnt WOFFles deck as highlighted in my first article FFTCG: The Adventure Begins.
Quick recap, Burnt WOFFles is a pyromaniacs dream built around pinging damage from backups such as Ace [10-131S], Tellah [5-015H], Black Waltz 2 [3-015R] and forward Zack [10-007H]. My aim was to combine this with an Ifrita [9-002H] and the WOFF characters that Opus X brought in.
I stand here on the eve of battle, like a thousand players before me and thousands more to come, ready to see if my limited testing at home is ready to compete. Or at least that’s how it feels before your first local event.
My name is Glen, an entry level player from Victoria, Australia who like many others were mesmerised by FFTCG at PaxAUS 2019. Since then I have searched YouTube, Reddit, Facebook communities to watch content, learn about the game and grow my card collection to see what I like to build and play with.
Hello everyone, I have a quick article for you today. I gathered this data on the two deck format from the European and North American Championships, but I was so busy at work that I was never able to report on the tournament. I wanted to release the graphs below because I still think it is interesting to observe what people played, and we are going to see a Two-Deck format again at Worlds.
However, Opus X will be legal at Worlds, so we may not see all the same decks or proportions of decks depending on how players test with the new cards. That being said, lets take a look at what people brought with a Worlds Qualification on the line.
Before we can begin this article, I need to shout out my very first patron for my Patreon. I want to extend a HUGE thank you to James Lockwood for supporting me. I spend a LOT of time working on The Mysidia Post, now that it includes articles, YouTube, and a podcast (I basically don't play video games anymore). I greatly appreciate the support that my fans show me. This allows me to pay for my website, and hopefully it will eventually help me upgrade my equipment to make better content for you all. Thanks again James!
